Short Description
With financial support from the Social Development Office, Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, skill development training was conducted for local youth in Building Electrician and Plumbing trades. The program aimed to provide practical, market-oriented technical skills to 44 youths—22 in Building Electrician and 22 in Plumbing—and prepare them for employment and self-employment opportunities in the construction sector.
Achievement
The training successfully enhanced the technical knowledge and practical competencies of 44 youth. The Building Electrician trainees developed skills in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, electrical safety, and troubleshooting, while Plumbing trainees gained practical skills in pipe installation, fittings, water supply systems, sanitary fixtures, maintenance, and repair. The program improved participants’ confidence, workplace readiness, and employability, while also creating opportunities for self-employment and income generation in the construction and technical service sectors.
