GSN has been established with the aim of contributing on poverty alleviation through imparting of market based short term skills to the unemployed youths and linking them to the employment opportunities. Having established in the year 2014, it also aims to fulfill the striving need of skilled human resources in the country and abroad. 

The company, having head office at Kalimati-13, Kathmandu, has worked in 50districts around the country and gained credibility of providing quality service even in the very adverse situation. It has successfully completed more than 1500 training events and imparted employable skills to almost 25000 people. A list of innovative works including designing and developing of new training, producing of trainee friendly study materials, developing of trainers, coordinators, managers and skill assessors, enhancing the access and equity of skill training go into the credit of Genius Service Nepal (GSN). 

At this stage, GSN has got the capacity of executing big projects of international standards in the TVET sector and can impart skill training to 5,000 people a year from its own resources. In addition to the core training area, GSN has extended its expertise and net works to support pre training and post training activities too.

GSN has set mission of establishing this organization as one of most reliable organization in the arena of providing vocation skills and employment support to the unemployed youths around the country. Now we have proved it through 10 years of rigorous work and we do commit to maintain its image in the days to come. 

Objectives
The overall objective of the GSN is to strengthen the capacity of youths for sustainable employment. Similarly, the specific objectives are as follows:

• To manage demand based TEVT programs for unemployed youths
• To conduct vocational skills training program with complete training cycle approach
• To enhance employability of the vocational training graduates
• To conduct TNA, RMA, tracer study and other labor market related studies
• To prepare committed and dedicated subject experts as prime asset of organization and hence of the country as well.
• To adopt comprehensive approach to ensure the access of targeted groups in the GSN's activities.
• To ensure participation of all types of deprived groups in its activities.
• To become milestone of society in terms of contributing on socio economic development through means of vocational training.
• To develop GSN's institutional capacity to meet its set objectives

Vocational skill to youths does directly contribute on sustainable national development through reduction of unemployment, increased economic activities, improved educational and social order. Hence imparting of appropriate vocational skills to youths is very important for Nepal’s total development.

Project Achievement

Under the project “Conducting Skill Development Training for Local Youth”, funded by Neelakantha Municipality, Genius Service Nepal Pvt. Ltd. successfully conducted skill-based hospitality training for 100 local youths in Dhadingbeshi, Dhading, Nepal. The project focused on developing practical and employment-oriented skills in the hospitality sector through Waiter/Waitress (390 hours) for 20 participants and Barista (160 hours) for 80 participants.

The major achievements of the project are:

100 local youths trained: Successfully provided vocational and practical skills training to 100 participants, helping them develop competencies relevant to the hospitality and service industry.

Hospitality skills development: Participants gained practical knowledge and hands-on skills in waiter/waitress services, food and beverage service, customer handling, table setup, restaurant operations, coffee preparation, and barista techniques.

Employment-oriented training: The training was designed to enhance participants' employability and prepare them for job opportunities in hotels, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, resorts, and other hospitality establishments in Nepal and abroad.

Practical learning approach: Emphasis was placed on hands-on practical sessions, demonstrations, workplace discipline, hygiene and sanitation, communication, teamwork, and professional customer service.

Local youth empowerment: The project contributed to strengthening the skills and confidence of local youth and encouraged them to pursue employment, self-employment, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities within the hospitality sector.

Industry-relevant competencies: Participants were introduced to professional standards and workplace practices, enabling them to better understand the expectations of employers in the hospitality industry.

Contribution to local employment: By equipping local youth with market-oriented skills, the project supported the broader objective of reducing unemployment and promoting skilled human resources within the local community.

Successful project implementation: Genius Service Nepal Pvt. Ltd. implemented the training program in coordination with Neelakantha Municipality, ensuring structured training delivery, practical exposure, participant management, and completion of the planned training activities.

Overall Achievement:
The project successfully provided 100 local youths with hospitality-sector skills, creating a foundation for employment, income generation, entrepreneurship, and further professional development. The initiative demonstrates the positive role of local government and training providers in developing skilled human resources and improving employment opportunities for youth.
