Short Description

Genius Service Nepal Pvt. Ltd. implemented a 390-hour Waiter/Waitress skill development training program for 20 local youths of Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu, with financial support from Nagarjun Municipality. The training was designed to develop participants’ professional knowledge, practical skills, customer service abilities, food and beverage service techniques, hygiene and safety practices, and workplace discipline. The program aimed to enhance employability, support access to hospitality-sector jobs, and encourage sustainable income-generating opportunities for local youth.

Achievement

The 390-hour Waiter/Waitress skill development training successfully enhanced the professional and practical competencies of 20 local youths of Nagarjun Municipality. Participants gained hands-on skills in food and beverage service, table setup, customer care, hygiene and sanitation, communication, workplace safety, and professional hospitality practices. The training improved their confidence, work readiness, and employability, preparing them for employment and self-employment opportunities in the hospitality and tourism sector.
